Q1. What is SCQF?

Ans. Full form of SCQF is the Scottish Credit & Qualification Framework. It is a national qualifications framework for Scotland. They levels for employers and education providers to understand the qualification an individual holds. Level 7 indicates first year of graduation while level 8 indicates second year of graduation in India. Highest level being Level 12.

Q2. What are Credit Points?

Ans. Credit points indicate the duration it took to complete a qualification program. Level 7 and Level 8 Covers 240 Credit points in total. One credit point represents notional 10 hours of learning.

Q3. Why do we need SCQF recognition?

Ans. Universities in the UK, Singapore, New Zealand & Australia recognize SCQF Levels. It helps candidates in acquiring further qualification, Jobs and post study work VISA.

Q4. Will it also help me in getting jobs within India?

Q6. How much duration will I get PSW visa for?

Ans. The PSW visa duration entirely depends upon the rules and regulations of the country you are applying in. Ideally you can apply for 2 years of PSW visa. It is, however, upon the authorities to grant the VISA.

Q7. What is the name of the degree we will be pursuing?

Ans. Degrees are usually denoted as BA (hons) or BSC as per different universities. As per SCQF Level 7 is called International Certificate in Business Management, SCQF Level 8 is called International Specialized Diploma in Business Management & SCQF Level 11 is called International Practice Diploma in Business.

Q8. Is there a separate procedure to take admissions in foreign universities after second year in India?

Ans. Students are required to choose their specializations and then the university of their preference. Besides the VISA requirement there is no special procedure to be followed for taking admission into the foreign universities. Admission is almost certain provided the university has seats available.
